As indicated in our Policy area We do not hire our birds out for private release. They must be accompanied by a Dove Handler. Our birds are very dear to us and we like to keep them safe and cared for at all times.

Weddings

It is said that if white doves are seen on your wedding day, everlasting love is assured.

There are many ways in which you can incorporate doves into your special day, we have wedding packages available and are also able to create an experience tailor made for you.

Package options range from having pure white fantail doves on display throughout your ceremony, to having a flock released into the air as you are pronounced husband and wife. The picture created when the bride and the groom release a pair of doves is truly magical and we will work with your photographer to gain the best angles for spectacular photos.

We also can provide a number of dove related readings, poems and prayers for you to incorporate into your ceremony.

There are many appropriate times and locations to release your birds, be it on the church steps after the wedding or whilst walking down an outdoor aisle after the ceremony, out and about taking photos with your wedding party, during the ceremony before the legal documents are signed. You decide on the perfect time and place.

Our beautifully decorated handmade heart shaped cages will enhance your special day; we are able to decorate the display and release cages with coloured ribbons to compliment your colour theme.

Packages Available

To secure your release a non refundable deposit of $50-00 is required.
Please note: 2 Months notice must be given for weekday release bookings.

Package One

Two white doves will be released by the Bride and Groom from a stunning heart shaped cage.

Package Two

Four white fantail doves on formal display where all your guests can see them before and during the ceremony. They are in beautiful decorated cages.

Package Three

Two white doves released as per Package One plus 4 White fantails displayed in beautiful decorative cages.

Package Four

Two white doves for release and 4 fantails displayed as per Package One & Two. Plus flock release of pure white doves from their decorated baskets/cages. The flock rises into the air to form a beautiful display of doves. The pair of doves in the cage represents the unity of the married couple, faithful for life – the flock represents the love and best wishes of all those present at the wedding ceremony.

On your Wedding Day

Lennox white Doves will arrive approx 30 minutes before the release to set up. At the agreed time of the release you will be able to move to the cage and when your photographer is ready release your doves under the watchful eyes of the dove handler who will only step forward and assist with the release if needed. We do not encourage the hand release of the Doves as it puts stress on them. We offer a specially build heart shaped cage that opens, which the birds are released from.

Our doves are cleaned and groomed before we take them out on the town. We monitor their feeding but there is a small possibility that they will poo… on flight, “well they are real live animals”. But it rarely happens. We always bring supplies to clean up any mess that they might make.

We like to attend if possible the wedding rehearsal to discuss to best position for the doves to be released.

Doves will not be released after dusk so your release must be at least one hour prior to dusk. Please consider this when deciding the time of your ceremony if you intend having a release.

Looking to celebrate with added impact? Our birds can be exactly what you desire. They will help display your good news as they gracefully fill the sky with their presence, and will add to the energetic and joyful mood to your special time.

The release is an inspiring spectacle for those celebrating, and is also much more pleasing to the environment than releasing balloons.

We provide doves for Baby Naming, Birthdays, Engagements, Wedding Anniversary, Valentine's Day and anything else you wish to use our doves to show your love.
